What is Flipkart Big 10 Sale’s Bid and Win offer?

Flipkart Big 10 Sale’s Bid and Win offer is centred on allowing customers to place bid on certain products, and the bid with the lowest-unique amount will win. The winner (who placed a unique bid with the lowest sum) will then have the option to purchase the product at the price they placed the bid on. Once the winner of a particular bid is announced, they will have to complete the purchase within 24 hours.

How does Flipkart ‘Bid and Win’ offer work?

To participate in the Flipkart Bid and Win offer, you need to be 18 years or above in age, and must have an account on the e-commerce platform. The Flipkart homepage will have a widget with the products on which bids are being run; bidding period will be between 12am to 11:59pm each day.

In order to win, customers need to place unique bids of lowest value. For example, a Rs. 18,000 smartwatch can receive two bids of Rs. 15,000, one of Rs. 16,481.35, and one of Rs. 15,423. Of these, the winner will be the bid that values the smartwatch at Rs. 15,423, if no-one else bid that exact number. The Rs. 15,000 bids were disqualified because there were two bids of the same amount, while the Rs. 16,481.35 did not make the cut because the winning bid quoted a lower amount.

The winning bid will be announced 12 hours after the bidding ends on the offer page, and the winners will be intimated via their registered email address. They will have the option to buy the product at the quoted price, excluding delivery charges (if applicable). 

How to redeem the Flipkart Big 10 Sale's Bid and Win offer?

To redeem the Flipkart Big 10 Sale's Bid and Win offer, they will need to head to the My Rewards section in their account within 48 hours of the bid period ending. If they click on the link in the My Rewards section, they will have to purchase the product within 24 hours, or forfeit the offer.

Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale 2017 : What's behind profit-making payment options and offers?

Hey fellas, Flipkart is back with its Big Billion Day Sale. Slated for Sept 20-24, the sale is expected to offer up to 90 % discount on smartphones, televisions and refrigerators as claimed. Also good deal is expected across other brands of fashion, accessories and furnitures. To make every customer's wish true, Flipkart has launched various finance options. While the offers seem good, they may not be as straightforward as they seem. Let's check out fineprint behind some of them.

No Cost EMI: The 'No cost EMI' payment option by Flipkart is for those wishing to make payment for their purchases in a staggered manner. Though an interest-free loan, it is certainly not a "No cost". First of all, you need to get a pre-approved loan card for online shopping. Flipkart has partnered with Bajaj Finserv, a financial service provider in India for this. The card comes at a joining fee of Rs 349 along with an annual renewal fee of Rs 99. It further requires you to submit necessary documents like Id proof and photos etc. If you get the card, you can start shopping and opt for EMIs not lasting beyond 12 months. Moreover, it is only applicable for purchases made via Flipkart mobile app. Any purchases made via desktop or mobile websites do not qualify for this.

Discount on SBI cards: Flipkart is also providing additional discount to SBI debit and credit cardholders this sale season. But the discount applies only on a minimum cart value of Rs 5,999 and the maximum discount one can avail is Rs 1500. This offer is not applicable on Flipkart Gift Vouchers, Xiaomi Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime, Lenovo K6 Power and all Samsung mobiles except Samsung Galaxy A3, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt, Samsung Galaxy On5, Samsung Galaxy On7, Samsung Galaxy J5 - 6 (2016 Edition) and Samsung Galaxy On8.

Buy-now pay later: Flipkart has made this option available for some of its customers who shop through its app. You would get to see this option under 'My accounts' section on the app. As per the policy, product will be delivered to you and the bill for the amount will be sent to you on the 1st of every month with a due date on the 10th of every month. In case you fail to pay the amount, you will be penalized. The penalty depends on the outstanding amount. For instance, you have to pay Rs 100 for outstanding up to Rs 2,000, Rs 200 for outstanding between Rs 2,001-4,001 and Rs 400 for outstanding beyond 4,001.

Buy-back guarantee: Another offer this sale season is buy-back guarantee on various phones. As per the offer, the retailer will buy back your device at a fixed price, and the amount will be cut from the price of your new phone. But the guarantee is for a limited period say either be 6-8 months, or 9-12 months and the price is set accordingly. Take for instance, Moto Z2 Play (Fine Gold, 64 GB)  (4 GB RAM), which is available for Rs 27,000 on Flipkart. In case you wish to go for a buy back guarantee, it offers you a buy back price of Rs 12,400 within 6-8 months and Rs 10,000 upon surrendering between 9-12 months. Moreover, it charges you Rs 249 extra for this service.

Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale preview upto 20000 off on Electronics

Hello guys,the festive season has begun early for e-commerce firms this year as they kick off their sales blitz starting this week. 

If Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale preview is anything to go by, deep discounts and exclusive deals on gadgets and large appliances are expected to be a big draw this year as well. 

   

The e-commerce major is promising a good bargain on Asus, Motorola and HTC budget smartphones as well as a massive discount and deal on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Redmi 4A. Additionally, it will be offering a launchpad for Lenovo K8 Plus and Panasonic Eluga Ray 700, among others.

Calling it a ”big loot", Flipkart will be putting up television, refrigerators, split ACs and washing machines for a grand sale at up to 70% off. But, perhaps the biggest pull in this category will be up to Rs 70,000 off on big screen TVs.

Flipkart's four-day festive sale will begin on September 20 as it prepares to engage in an online dual with its closest rival Amazon India, which is hosting its sale event from September 21. 

Amazing deals 

As is customary for its offers, the sale will start early for Amazon's Prime members, who will get a 12-hour window before the rest of the world gets access to its festive season buys. 

Promising 40,000 deals across four days, Amazon will be offering up to 70% off on home and kitchen items as well as on fashion products, which has mostly been Flipkart's mainstay up until now. Other offers in the offing include up to 40% and 60% off on mobile phones and electronic appliances, respectively. 

In addition to exclusive app-only deals, customers using Amazon Pay will also get 10% cashback up to Rs 500.
